Residential Retreats 2010
“Angus’s relaxed, easy going style of teaching is powered by a deep understanding of the essence of tai chi and qigong. He skillfully shares this to create a rich and rewarding atmosphere.”
There are 2 residential retreats scheduled in for 2010 both at Sharpham House in the South Hams of Devon.
Fri 19 – Sun 21 March Spring Equinox Retreat and
Fri 1 – Sun 3 October Autumn Retreat
Courses commence at 6pm
(you can arrive from 4pm) Friday and finish 4pm Sunday.
Cost: £210 – 230 (sliding scale) shared accommodation (2/3 bed)
£250 single.
These retreats are open, which means that you’re welcome whatever your level of experience in tai chi and qigong: if you are new to tai chi, here’s a great chance to make a start. And if you’re familiar with it (any style) already then here’s a good opportunity to deepen your understanding and skill.
You’ll work with principles from the essence of tai chi and qigong in both its solo and partner aspects to bring you vitality, inspiration and insights.
You can expect to eat well, rest well, exercise well, study your tai chi and qigong, enjoy some excellent conversations, meet up with old friends and make new ones.
You’ll have time to ponder; to be quiet and still; as well as time to laugh, fool around, drink wine, chat and enjoy the excellent Sharpham food.
“Fantasticly restorative. I feel like my soul and body have joined up”
Sharpham is easy to get to and wonderfully placed, overlooking the Dart river valley just south of Totnes. They offer exceptionally good vegetarian food (much of it from their organic garden) and comfortable accommodation.
