Thurs 2 Aug - Tai Chi Essence 10am - 4pm
Tai Chi Essence is a way that you can learn, explore and fully experience Tai Chi by working with some key processes and just a few moves. In this way you learn everything you need to know for a rich and rewarding exploration into tai chi.Everyone welcome. Form more information on Tai Chi Essence, click here.
Fri 3 Aug - Rudiments of 2 Person Tai Chi 10am - 4pm
You may have heard of the term 'Pushing Hands', you may be very familiar with it or it may be new to you.
Either way it doesn't matter for this workshop, which takes you from the very basics of contact interaction
with another person. What we do is based on principles of softening, yielding, listening and following and these encourage you to respond to situations creatively and along the way find out a bit more about yourself. Everyone welcome.
Sat 4 Aug - Tai Chi in Nature 10am - 4pm (meet at the Barefoot Barn at 10am)
Make yourself a picnic, we're going out there!
When you play Tai Chi in nature, it feels like something's right. It just fits.
You can feel how it works, standing by the clear flowing water of a Dartmoor river;
taking earthing lessons from the granite boulders; listening to the wind, feeling things,
becoming more aware - aware of the wildlife, the plants, creatures, the land, the feel, the shapes, the sky.
It all seems to make sense. And you can weave this with your inner landscape - standing between the
earth and the sky, feeling your alignment connecting with the greater feeling of life. It'll be a good day.
