It is sometimes said that your practice becomes more potent around the Solstice time. It feels like it does. I like the idea of the Earth reaching the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next - just like the moves in tai chi.

Going on a journey to the top of a mountain is not as easy as it seems, especially during the cold winter. As a veteran mountain climber, I have a lot of experience navigating my way through the forest. If you ask me, people need to be able to understand the field before they go mountain climbing. I do not suggest hiking or mountain climbing without a guide with you. I know that it is thrilling, but it is also very dangerous.

Awesome list....very well thought out! I, too, am working on many of these, specifically #10. My husband and I try our best to stay within our town or surrounding towns to shop and dine....supporting the mom and pop shops as much as possible :)

I want to go back to running and competing again, but it is going to be hard. I was injured two years ago, and ever since then, I was never the same. I have been through rehab, but it is not enough. It will be a long journey back to competitions, but I want to do it. I want to keep getting better, and I do not care how long it takes. I live to run, that is my purpose in life.
